Bookkeeping practice or accounting firm?

A bookkeeping practice keeps your records current month to month and hands them to your tax preparer. An accounting firm run by certified public accountants may do the books too, and can prepare returns and financial statements. If you already have a tax preparer you like, a bookkeeping practice may be all you need. If you want one firm for everything, an accounting firm is worth a call.
